I will never forget the day I made the decision to leave everything behind to look for a better future in the United States. Like many immigrants, I came with great dreams, but without resources, without contacts and without knowing exactly how I would achieve it.

I remember clearly my first contact with the world of cars: I entered a dealer with a friend, with the illusion of asking for prices... and I wasn't even taken care of. At that time I understood how difficult it could be to start from scratch.

My way started far from where I am today. My first job was washing dishes in a restaurant inside a mall in Miami. Then I went to another restaurant doing the same thing. I had no car, so my transport was a bike: I was walking long distances every day to be able to work and save, returning by bus at night to keep moving little by little.

Then I worked in construction, where I learned discipline and constancy. Later, cleaning floors in restaurants for months, I lived one of the most difficult stages, but also one of the most formative of my life. Despite all this, I never lost faith and gratitude for every opportunity that was presented to me.

In time, I understood that I not only wanted to get ahead, but also to help others to do so. That's when I found my way into the automotive industry.
